Perez Art Museum in Miami should be on every visitor’s must-see list. It’s a contemporary museum located in Museum Park and has gorgeous views of the Biscayne Bay. You can probably spend hours here without ever setting foot inside. The patio has hanging gardens with Adirondack chairs and swings where you could sit with a book and soak in the view.
Once inside, a sense of calm washes over you. The museum has expansive rooms with one exhibit per room, making it easy to navigate and appreciate the artwork. The ‘Poetics of Relation’ exhibits were moving and captured the essence and diversity of Miami.
A special mention to the fantastic restaurant on site – Verde where we had some really good food. Behold the well plated delicious offerings from left to right – chicken under a brick, fluke crudo and chicken tagine.
If any of you ever find yourself in downtime Miami with a few hours to spare, I highly recommend checking PAMM out.
