Scenes from Copenhagen

I didn’t expect to be this charmed by Copenhagen. The city is historic and modern at the same time and in the same measure. Culture, gourmet food, entertainment, shopping, architecture, there’s something here for every discerning traveler. One minute you could be walking on Strøget, the longest pedestrian shopping street in the world, and the next minute, you’ve wandered into one of the palaces. You could have an extravagant meal at one of best restaurants in the world at Noma or stroll down two blocks to Copenhagen Street Food to sample wares from over the world. I won’t list all the must-see-sights in the city because there’s plenty available online. Sometimes when I am planning a trip, I like to see pictures on a travel blog to get a feel of what it really looks like, separate from its tourist attractions. So, I leave you with these pictures of this gorgeous city and if I could give you just one tip, it will be to try some of the new Nordic cuisine that the world is talking about (I highly recommend trying the smørrebrød).
