Weekend getaway to Cape Cod

Cape Cod is the go-to summer destination for all Bostonians. Provincetown (my favorite town on the Cape) is located at the very end of the cape and is a vibrant place filled with antique stores and art galleries. We decided to go to Provincetown with some friends over the weekend. August is a perfect time to spend a few weeks here although the traffic can be a bit of a downer.

There are many beaches worth spending some time at and Race Point beach is a popular choice. We stopped by at Sandy Neck Beach in Sandwich on our way to Provincetown.  Countless hours were spent on the beach splashing around in the ocean, reading books and taking naps. A much needed respite from the busy work week.

Here are some pictures from our short trip.
