One week in Goa

D and I were in Goa for a week. We were visiting in shoulder season and it rained everyday for hours. We were staying at the beautiful Grand Hyatt in Bambolim, which has a private beach, a world class spa, and a casino on the property. It was the perfect place to recharge and we didn’t venture out much. One day when the sun was shining and the sky wasn’t too cloudy, we left the tranquility of the resort to sight see.

We were able to see Basilica of Bom Jesus, Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church, Chapora Fort, Fort Aguada, and Vagator beach. We felt like we had all of the city to ourselves.

Even though everyone loves to visit Goa during the peak season to enjoy the beaches, I would highly recommend a trip in the monsoon season as well!
