A dash of animal print

I have always been wary of animal print. It seems too strong a statement sometimes and completely tacky in some fabrics. However, like with all fashion trends, trying them out in small doses is a great strategy for everyone. I fell in love with these Micheal Kors leopard print kitten heels when I saw them online. They feature a statement studded block heel which adds some bling to the shoe. These shoes are so comfortable to walk in, I would highly recommend them. I wore them with a simple outfit of black pants and a bright pink sweater. A tortoiseshell necklace matches the shoes subtly and completes my outfit.

Animal print in a satin fabric can be a big no-no while the same print in a luxurious fabric can be bold and strong. If the traditional yellow based prints are too much for you, try black and white prints such as zebra and white leopard. Try these prints in form of accessories, such as shoes, bags, jewelry and scarves. Here’s some inspiration for you –animal-prints
